Week 38 & 39... Seeing some Snow!
January 5 - January 18th, 2009

Well again, Mommy has gotten a little behind keeping everyone in touch with what's been happening with me! Because of that, we decided we just let everyone know the highlights of my days and advancements.

The first Monday, I walked along the tub for the first time! It's my first try at walking along something.

I'm getting into everything these days. I love playing with the toys that are in my closet.

On Saturday, Mommy didn't feel like cooking, so we got a pizza from Little Ceasar's. I got my very first balloon! I had so much fun with it.

On the second Monday, Lillian and Emma's dad came to visit; his name is Josh Koontz. He drives a truck now and had to bring a load to Knoxville, so Daddy picked him up, and we went to lunch together. Bar-b-que, Yum! He got to hang out with us for a while.

Guess what? Monday was Daddy's birthday; he's 25. The big news though is that my new cousin Mya was born today! I'm so excited to meet her.


We went to the Smokey Mountains during the weekend. We got to see so much snow! It was awesome.

Here Mommy and Daddy were trying to cook supper. I always crawl under their feet, and so Daddy made this barricade to try to keep me out! It kept me busy trying to break through, that's for sure.

I ended up the week getting my second tooth! It wasn't fun getting it, but I'm glad every time I get one, because that means I get to eat more of what Mommy and Daddy eat.

Weeks 36 & 37... It's vacation time!
December 22, 2008 - January 4, 2009

Mommy decided to take my 8-month old photos a couple days late. So we took these photos that are below. It was a lot of fun, and I was so happy to get to play with my rocket. I'll be big enough for it soon, and I'm pretty good at getting off of it already without getting hurt.

Daddy had three days off this week for vacation, and Mommy and Daddy didn't have any plans to go anywhere or have any visitors. It was so wonderful! It was nice to spend time just as our little family. Wednesday we ran around town to Hobby Lobby, Lowe's, and the post office.


Thursday, we went over to Mommy's cousin's house. Wes and Hailey Nichols were having all their family over for breakfast. There was so much yummy food! My cousin Evan fed me, and my grandma's first cousin Pam enjoyed watching. She loves playing with me, because she misses her grandbabies that live all the way in Florida.

I love bath time. I have so much fun playing in it, and Mommy lets me stay in there for a while so that I can have one good, big, last playtime before bedtime.

On Friday, Mommy and Daddy went to buy a new vacuum this week. I loved playing with the box!
The next week, on Monday, Nana came to spend the week with me. On Wednesday, she took me to Toys 'R Us, and I racked up! She bought me a fun walking toy, a black panther stuffed cat, and a xylophone. Nana wanted to go home right away to play with me with them, but we decided to do a little bit of shopping that Mommy never gets to do by herself; we went to the mall. Mommy had fun at least!

Wednesday night late, Papa B and Aunt Kathryn came in, and I got to see them early Thursday morning. We had so much fun with them!
In these two weeks, I started walking with Daddy's help, and I learned to wave good-bye. On Sunday, Daddy had a talk in Greeneville, and I got to see Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Kristin. After his talk, we went to Great-Nana's. She all the sudden screamed, "Ow! He bit me, and he has a tooth!" Mommy said, "I don't think he has a tooth," and then she felt and discovered the secret I'd been keeping. I got my first tooth finally! Surprise:)

Week 34 & 35... Falling, Falling
December 8- December 21, 2008

The first weekend we traveled to North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. We went to visit for our cousin Jonathan and Jenny's baby shower. It's only a month until little Mya is due, and we can't wait to meet her. We arrived Saturday morning and got to enjoy some family time with Aunt Sherry and Uncle Mark as well as with Cousin Summer and Cousin Matt. Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Mike got there a little later too. Unfortunatly, Grandma is really really sick; so, she couldn't come to the party. Aunt Kristin is sick too. I hope I don't get sick again!

I enjoyed playing in the floor with Great-Uncle Mark. He loves babies and is so excited to have a granddaughter of his own.

Later, we went to the shower for Mya. The food was so yummy; although, Mommy only let me taste a few things, like a strawberry. It was tangy! After a while, Daddy and Cousin Matt went downstairs to watch tv, and I got to go with them so that I could take a nap.

After a while, we went back to Uncle Marks house, and Aunt Sherry started cooking us some dinner. Speghetti! I was so tired though, that Daddy put me to sleep while dinner was going on. I slept for several hours, but I woke up really early and kept Mommy up for a long time. She was so exhausted the next day.
Aunt Stephanie had a great time playing with me the next morning! We left at about 1 pm, and I slept most of the way home. Mommy and Daddy were so happy!


I helped Mommy with the groceries this week. She said I was such good help!

Wednesday, I went to visit Grandma and Papaw. We also went to visit Great-Nana; she missed me so much. While I was visiting her I really perfected pulling up and standing with help! The dishwasher was my biggest help! While we were there, Mom and Grandma made some chicken salad to take home to Daddy. We also ate it for dinner while we were at Papaw's. Mommy was so happy again, because when we left, I slept the whole way home!Friday, we left to go to Fall Creek Falls with Scott, Amanda, Abby, and Ava. We had a good trip, but I kept Mommy and Daddy awake at night again. Mommy was so tired, she just wanted to sleep most of the trip.

Saturday, we visited most of the waterfalls and enjoyed going over all sorts of bridges. Later we came back to our cabin and ate and ate! Amanda made an amish cake that was so yummy! I love cake. We also played cards and watched a movie.

I had fun playing with Abigail and Ava. Although, Ava kept taking my toys and making me cry. Abigail would get them back for me though! Oh... all these girls! They kept wanting to hug me... but they were so rough!

It was a fun trip, but we were happy to get back home to get some rest!
