Week 42 & 43... Playing at the Park
February 2 - February 15, 2009

What a couple weeks we had! I got to go to the park for the first time. I had a good time, but Daddy scared me a little bit on the slide, and I didn't like it at all. Below are some photos of my second trip to the park; it is very close to my house, and Mommy says she's going to take me a lot this summer.

Over the first weekend we went to Alabama; Kristian Silvernail was having a graduation party, and Mommy and Daddy were helping out. The party was a big hit, and Mommy and Daddy had such a big time with Scott and Amanda.

This little girl came to visit me at my baby party last year. She's in my Nana and Papa's congregation. It was good to see her again.

Tuesday, Mommy had a really bad day, but I tried to cheer her up. I kept going up to her and giving her kisses. I knew she didn't feel good, and she said I made her feel better.

Wednesday, we went to visit Grandma and Papaw. Mommy wanted some company and to see her friend Megan. They went to lunch and didn't take me! That's ok though, because I got to stay and have a good time with Grandma and Papaw.

Over the second weekend, I went to spend the night with Aunt Stephanie. Mommy and Daddy had a lot of things to do for the house to get it ready for people to come look at. They touched up paint, cleaned the garage, and other odds and ends they'd been putting off.

I had a great time at Aunt Stephanie's though! Saturday, she drove me to meet Mommy and Daddy, and I was glad to see them again. Saturday I also started pointing to things and looking at where other were pointing.

Sunday was a very busy day for me too! After the meeting we went and had lunch with my Great-Aunt Nan and my Great-Uncle Gary as well as my cousins Garrett and Ethan. I got to play with their puppy, but it kept licking me; Mommy didnt' like that. After that, Abra and Aaron came over for supper. Aaron brought two of his puppies with him. One of them nipped my ear and it started bleeding; Mommy wasn't too happy about that either.

All in all, it was a good two weeks. I always have a good time with Mommy and Daddy.

Week 40 & 41... New Baby Cousin!

January 19 - February 1, 2009

This week I had my nine month appointment. I now weigh 17 pounds 11 ounces! I'm only in the 10th percentile for my weight, but the doctor said no reason to worry. I've just gotten more active now that I'm crawling everywhere!

I've started pinching a lot now. I've got the pincher grasp down pat! It really helps when I'm eating cheerios. I can also play peek-a-boo really well too!

On their way to Louisiana, Jillian, Aaron, and Piper spent the night with us. Piper and I had such a fun time together!Over the first weekend we went to see my new baby cousin. Her name is Mya, and she is so pretty. Here she is with her Mommy and Daddy. Jonathan is Mommy's first cousin. When they were little they used to write letter to one another. I hope Mya and I will be that close.

Mommy and Daddy had a great time visiting again. This time they went with Grandma and Papaw. Great-Aunt Sherry and Uncle Mark are so excited to have a new grand baby.

The next weekend Aunt Megan was getting a new Great Dane puppy. Her mom decided to throw her a Puppy shower, because she says she's never going to have any grandchildren. Mommy went and left me with Daddy. She told me about it the next day, because I feel asleep before she got home. Here is Hunter and I at Megan and Nathan's Superbowl party on Sunday. It was the first time I was old enough to really play with Hunter! We had a great time. Here we are with Mommy. I had so much fun chasing Hunter and the puppy around.
