Week 50 & 51... My first Memorial!
March 30 - April 12, 2009

This was a big event! I went to my first Memorial during this time! Last year, I was still in Mommy's belly, but this year I got to experience the whole event from Mommy's lap.


Before the Memorial, Mom took a few photos of me by myself and a few of us as a family.Afterwards, we went to get ice cream! I even got my own kiddie cup, because Mom had a coupon. haha.

I'm really getting to be a big ham these days. I'm not sure what that means, because I thought ham was a lunch meat. I hope Mom and Dad don't eat me for lunch!

Anyways... I started saying a few new things these couple of weeks. I started saying "What's that? ", "books", "diaper", "pop", and "mmmmm". I also started making a truck sound while pushing around my truck and boat. Mommy thinks that is so funny!

Here I am playing with one of my Mom's old toys. It's a really neat cash register.
Yum!

I love doing things with Daddy. He lets me help him cook and golf! We are going to get into so much trouble when I get bigger. I'm really looking forward to it!

Week 48 & 49... Sleep Over!
March 16 - March 29, 2009

I had such a good time these two weeks. I am making all sorts of great friends! Wednesday I went to play with Nicole Bennet and Tyson Long. Tyson is about five months younger than I am, but we are the same size. He's a big guy! We had lots of fun just playing on the floor. While I was there, Mommy thought it was so cute that I stood and signed "more" when I was wanting more banana! I also started saying "boh" for boat.

I'm really getting a ton of teeth! I got my third upper tooth on Thursday!

Friday was a good day because I had a sleep over! My friend Devon brought his parents all the way from Alabama to spend the night with me! I was already asleep when they got here, but I got to see them first thing Saturday morning.


Here we are with Devon's mom, Sara. Mom says that she used to have sleep-overs with Sara and now I'll get to carry on the tradition.
Saturday was a great day! After we ate breakfast, we went to the park. Devon and I did all sorts of things like swinging, sliding, and riding funny animal toys.

After we went to the park, Mom wanted to take Devon's Mom and Dad to some neat places in Knoxville. First we went to World's Fair Park. They've made it look real nice in the last several years, and there is a huge globe you can go up into and look over the whole city. Mom had never gone into it, and Daddy suggested we check it out. It was really neat! There was a great view of all of Knoxville.

After we saw that, we went to McKay's; it's a huge used book store that Mommy likes. Finally, we went to the ALDI market and bought some things to make dinner and for Mommy and Sara's movie night.


Daddy and Kyle were going to go to see a concert, but they decided they were too tired. Wow! They are getting old! I'd never be too tired for something like that. They crashed Mommy and Sara's movie night and picked a boy movie! They were not happy! Atleast they had good snacks, Mommy said.

Devon and I played a long time, and we had a great time!

Sunday, after the meeting, we ate Buddy's Bar-b-que, and unfortunately it was time for Devon to leave. I did learn several new things on Sunday though; I stood up all by myself! I didn't have any help. I also signed milk and diaper.Monday, I started trying to imitate everything that anyone says. I'm going to get this talking thing down soon! I also got my fourth upper tooth!

The next weekend I took my first step! It was tiny, but Mom and Dad were so proud!
