11 Weeks, I been Swimming Along...
June 30- July 6, 2008
Daddy went to work again this week. I wish he didn't have to leave me everyday, but atleast I have Mommy to keep me company. Mommy and I played together a lot this week, and the cats enjoyed keeping me company too.
Wednesday, after Dad got home from work, he took me and Mommy to the pool in our little community. (Mommy doesn't like going by herself.) They got me all suited up in some "Little Swimmers", sunglasses, and a hat, and we walked to the pool. After a few minutes they decided to try me in the pool to see how I liked it. I love bath time, but goodness! That water was COLD! I hated it, and didn't last very long at all. Finally, they took me home and put me in a nice warm bath, and I was happy again.

On Thursday, a friend of Mommy's, Samantha, came over to see me and our house. She went to High School with Mommy, and even came to Mommy and Daddy's wedding. Therefore, she couldn't wait to meet me! They went to lunch at one of Mommy's favorite places, The Fountain City Creamery. She says they have the best salads and sandwiches. At The Creamery, our friend Chelsea was our waitress. She was fantastic, but wished that she could have been holding me instead.

On Friday, Daddy had the day off work again! Mommy was so happy. She and Daddy never have any time to be at home together; they are always taking me to visit someone!
Friday night, we went to visit Mommy's Uncle Danny. He's my great-Uncle. He has a grand-daughter named Emry, and she loves taking care of me. She helped change me, feed me, and always ran as fast as she could to get me a spit up cloth. She kept running to Daddy to tell him things about me too. I wonder what she was saying.
This is her baby doll. Mommy says I'm her baby doll! I can see the resemblance.
Saturday, we went out in service with Grandma and Papaw. We had a real easy day. Daddy went to visit a teacher with whom he taught. She was Mommy's Chemistry teacher, and she was in love with me! She couldnt get over what a doll I am. (So I hear.) We also got to go to a bakery!
That afternoon, we went to Kim and Rick Hine's house. Mommy went to take photos of their family and the Denton's. It took all afternoon, and Mommy was so worn out after it. And then they drove all the way home to Knoxville and got ready to go to Alabama!

Sunday, Daddy wanted to surprise Papa B and Nana at the convention in Huntsville. (Nana had a part on the convention.) We told Uncle Jeremy we were coming so that we would have some lunch, and we told Aunt Kathryn on our drive down. When we got to the convention, Aunt Kathryn came and got me and took me to Papa B and Nana. They were so surprised! They got a little misty eyed even. They kept me the whole convention.

We ate lunch with Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Kristen in the park, and after lunch they took me back to Papa B and Nana, and they went shopping (They've already been to the convention.)!

After the convention, Uncle Jeremy took me around and showed me to all the people that are in his congregation. He's so proud of me! Then, we went to a Thai restaurant; It's Mommy's favorite. I went home with Nana and Papa B, and Dad and Mom went out for the first time without me. They went to a movie with Scott and Amanda, and I was already asleep by the time they got home!

It was a very tiring weekend, and we were all ready for a good nights rest.
